I have to agree Mike, there is a huge opportunity to market in this virtual world. Billboards and the like are already apparent and there could be nice opportunity for land owners in high-traffic areas. I wonder if there are any stats out as too which areas are the most popular at the moment..

hi - interesting stuff on Second Life.

I started a blog about 2 weeks ago looking at the demise of traditional advertising and my second story was on how advertisers are starting to use Second Life to test new products. An example besides the one i found was a car company called Scion putting thier cars on the site. American Apparel (a huge american clothing company) has also opened a store on Second Life.My point is is that there is possibly an opportunity for a Second Life ad agency advising clients on effective palcement on the site (and of course getting paymeny in Linden Dollars?)
